Educator account terms

Educators include teachers and adult parents or legal guardians teaching at home. A homeschool account has the same free and paid plan limits. Creating the adult account does not authorize a child account: record the child’s age group and consent, then complete guardian verification with support. Adult learners give their own permission. You may withdraw a child’s permission in My family and request access, correction or deletion through support.

Adult lesson preparation uses preset curriculum topics and age ranges without transmitting child identities or submitted work. It requires Pro access and available AI credits unless covered by administrator-authorized testing access. Review all generated material before sharing. This does not enable AI processing of under-13 student work or remove age, parental-control or provider-retention safeguards.

Create an account with your own name and an email you control. Keep your sign-in details private. Free independent teachers receive one Open Classroom and can enroll one student total. Students pay nothing for access through Xtra Classes.

You are responsible for permission to use the lesson materials you upload, reviewing AI drafts, and obtaining the required parent/guardian consent or other valid authorization before giving a student access. Creating an independent teacher account does not make you an institution administrator or authorize you to act for a school.

Free signup includes no AI credit or Pro tools. We retain a hashed email identifier and registration record to prevent duplicate registrations, including after account closure. Contact support if you need help restoring access.

Paid upgrades and additional credit are optional and governed by the subscription terms. Account permissions and age/privacy restrictions continue to apply.

You can request account deletion through Account & privacy or support. See our privacy policy for data handling. Contact support@claudiusengland.com for assistance.
